Stay connected
We’re in the final week of May already and winter has quietly been settling in. The days get shorter, the mornings a bit slower, and it’s becoming easier to stay indoors, keep warm, and take things at your own pace. But when that pattern goes on for too long, it can leave people feeling a bit cut off and isolated, which can have a knock-on effect on wellbeing and mental health.
That is where places like our Community Shed really matter.
While it is natural for people to hibernate a little in winter, having a space to drop into, see familiar faces, and share time together helps keep that sense of connection strong. The Community Shed is not just about getting things done, it is about staying connected.
