The LMCS is now operational, The initial focus of the Shed was woodwork and metal work but now has a pottery area and is developing a wood turning facility. Should our members wish to pursue other activities, then we will attempt to meet their wishes.
The Shed has a well equipped woodworking workshop, with integrated dust control and commercial grade woodworking machines.
The metal work area has a number of welders, cutting gear and fume extraction.
A relatively recent development the Shed has set up a ceramics area with a kiln, 4 potter's wheels slug mill and a roller. we hope that ceramics will soon be a major activity within the Shed.
It is expected that the members will work on their own projects as well as projects that can be be donated to other community groups or used to help fund the ongoing costs of running the shed.
